The Edinburgh-headquartered multi-disciplinary organisation proposes establishing mutual housing groups to develop grant-free affordable housing. By using the latest pre-fabricated construction techniques and leveraging the collective strength of groups to secure land, homes and finance at a lower cost, this helps to avoid the need for personal mortgages and increasingly unaffordable deposits.

The idea is to increase the supply capacity of affordable housing by offering packaged solutions to groups with an established model, which has been partially (or fully) developed and approved by selected lenders.

The financial analysis shows that it should be possible to build at scale and without government grant support, while offering investors a long-term low risk and stable investment.
